Learning English on your own

Are you currently learning English on your own? If you are, congratulations! That is NOT an easy thing to do, but I'm so proud of you for doing it! While I know some students thrive from having private lessons or participating in English classes, I also know many students who have found success all on their own. Their hard work and motivation were enough to help them improve their English skills. You have the potential to become one of those students, so don't give up!

Why am I saying this? I want you to know that you do not need to take English lessons to improve your English if you don't want to. It's not a requirement. As much as I would LOVE to have you as one of my students, you are absolutely capable of learning English on your own. You really are! Some students simply prefer having additional support or working with a teacher who can personalize their lessons for them, which is completely fine, but it's also fine if you'd prefer to try learning English by yourself.

Sometimes students ask me where they should start with their independent English learning. There are so many free resources out there to help you with your English, which is great, but it's easy to get lost and to become unsure about which resources you should use. I've done two things to help you with this! First, I created a freebie that has a list of free tips and resources to help you with your independent English learning. Don't worry about researching different resources - I've done the research for you! My freebie covers speaking, listening, reading, and writing, so it's a great place to start if you just want a basic outline of what you should focus on.

I also created two study guides (one for beginners and one for intermediate learners) to help you even more! The study guides cover grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and everyday English. They are meant to guide you in your learning based on your English level, so it's more personalized than my freebie is. I charge a small fee for them, but I promise they are very affordable!

If you are interested in my freebie, all you need to do is sign up for my mailing list here to access it! And if you would like more information on my study guides, you can find that information here. Best of luck with your independent learning!
